Is my steak ok????

So, I left a fresh (not frozen) organic, grass fed steak that was vacuum sealed in a bag OUT overnight (temp in our house ranges from around 66-70 degrees). It was out for around 12 hours--maybe even more, still in the vacuum sealed packaging. I'm cooking it now to stop any bacterial growth that's been going on, but wondering if it is ok to eat? It didn't smell any worse/different to me than raw meat usually smells, but I'm wondering what would you all do, and what you all think I should do. So, my question is, to eat or not to eat?

TIA!

If it's a steak, I would give it a good hard sear and eat it. I wouldn't overcook it - any bacterial growth would be on the surface, but since it didn't smell bad...

I'd eat it. I always defrost on the counter (I have chicken on the warming shelf on the woodstove atm), and I've had stuff out for 10-15 hours lotsa times.
