Sleeping for 15.5 hours now, should I wake her?

My 4mo DD has been asleep since 8pm last night. She usually sleeps 11-12 hours. I've checked on her, she seems fine--she doesn't have a fever or anything. She wiggles around a little when I feel her skin, and goes back to sleep. We have a bug going around our house so I'm thinking she's getting extra sleep to fight it off? Or should I wake her up? Who would have thought I'd ever have THIS problem Thanks for any advice!

Nooooooooo! Cardinal rule: Never wake them!

Seriously, as long as you think she seems fine and is just getting rest because she needs it, I wouldn't wake her unless you have to.

Are you pumping? I'd highly recommend it.

I would also recommend calling your ped and asking them. Personally, I would probably wake her, since this is not normal.

I'd wake her. That seems excessive to me, she needs to nurse.

Thank you all, she just woke up. She seems ok, maybe a little under the weather. Luckily what we've all had hasn't been a big deal so hopefully not for her either.

And yes I was pumping one side at a time (so she wouldn't be mad if she woke up :-) ) every couple of hours.

Thanks again and have a nice day w/your littles!
