Any chance we could add how many weeks & days gestation? Or maybe I'm the only weirdo who cares ? I think they did that in my last ddc.

I think that's an excellent idea...i keep looking at new mama's sigs to see the edd, but they're always so on top of it that they change them already after LO comes

i was 38 weeks even or 37w3d depending on which due date you use.

we got newborn pics of adam taken the other day and i have to share a few.. i love them! if anyone is in the central florida area, i highly recommend www.freshfacephotos.com- she is very professional and awesome to work with! she even comes to your home to do the photos so you don't have to travel far with a new baby!
p.s. ignore my bushy eyebrows haha.

8lbs, 18 1/2 in. 9 days "early"

couldn't have hoped for a better birth! Early labor lasted from 7am to 4pm, with easy-peasy contractions 10 min apart, then active labor kicked into high gear at 4pm. by 6pm we met the midwife at the hospital, I was 2 min apart, and 8cm dilated! I heard cheers coming from the nurses station- it was the motivation I needed to feel I could make it through, and sure did 2 hours later.. no pain meds, no iv's, and best of all, no tearing! the attending nurse said I was the quietest natural birth she had ever seen (really??- even when I yelled out at the end, get him out of me!!?) and the midwife said I was amazing at staying relaxed, almost comatose inbetween contractions. amazing how a totally different birth experience can just change everything- about how you feel.
he's a super nurser- the milk is starting to come in already only 12 hours postpartum.. holy cow!
And of course, he's cute!! I'll post pics when I can.
