He asked, "so, are we going to be able to change your mind on vaccinating today?" (DS is un-vaxed.) I just kept it simple and said, "nope." He then smirked/chuckled and said, "well, we'll wear you down eventually."

I'm prepared to let it go and just use him for what western medicine is good for: acute issues, emergencies. Or, we could switch peds.
Our options are:
1) keep him. He's very available after hours via phone for urgent issues. Also, has a solo practice, which means less traffic/germs when we do go in.
2) switch to a more open-minded ped who works in a large ped clinic--it would be less personal and more germy! Good ped availability after hours.
3) switch to a more open-minded ped who has a smaller practice, but who is not very available after hours. There is a number to call after hours, but you end up with a family practice doc. If I need to call after hours, I think I'd prefer a ped since I'll only be calling for something urgent/important.
WDYT?
