Bone broth in a smoothie!

I have been making alot of bone broth lately, a week long bone broth, continually simmering it. So the other night I had some cooling that was leftover from dinner, and dh made a smoothie and put several cups in the smoothie, and I had no idea until he told me afterwards. It was delicious! Why havent I tried this earlier.

And to add, we finally have been using nettles usually for the liquid in our smoothies. I have been avoiding it because I was worried about the taste, but it is great, and doesn't change the flavor.

Great ways to get added nutrients where I was going to add water anyway. (we are allergic to dairy)

I'm interested too. I tried bone broth in a green smoothie this morning and it didn't go over very well. I didn't mind it but dd1 thought it wasn't as good as usual and only drank half. I LOVE the idea though!!!!!
