I have been reading here off and on for years. My dh and I have considered adoption, talked about it, thought about it, since we were ttc our now 6 year old.
A few months ago I felt strongly that we needed to discern once and for all if we were going to pursue fost-adoption. Last night we went to an orientation at an agency one of our friends used. We are going to add to our family.
I am 41, DH is 43. We have a 16 year old ds, a 12 year old dd and a 6 year old dd. The older 2 have yearned and begged for another sibling since their sister was born.
So, here I am. Just wanted to introduce myself. It's a little scary to chart these new territories, but exciting as well.
