Our oldest DD was 12 months old when I got pregnant & we nursed the whole time....and are still nursing. I know her latch got lazy toward the end, so I suspect my supply'd changed (around 7th or 8th month). As a precaution against thinking you're going crazy, I'd read up about "breastfeeding agitation" a bit. That was the only obstacle we faced, also near the end of the pregnancy. Good luck & congrats!

Your milk supply may or may not affected but most women have a grace period until around 20 weeks. Then it may stay the same, decrease, or go away. Some babes will still nurse without milk until colustrum comes in; some self-wean. Personally, I would wait and see how your supply is holding up until using a new milk. Since she is a year old, you can offer toddler formula (more nutrious than cow's milk it is her primary caloric source), cow's milk, or soy milk.

Many women nurse through pregnancy and continue to tandem nurse. If you do notice a drop in supply you could substitute with formula (since she doesn't eat many solids) or other types of milk (cow, goat, soy). Many moms are able to keep a good supply until the 20th week though others find a decrease sooner. Good luck and congrats!!

Check out "Mother's Milk Two" a supplement that is safe during pregnancy.
DD is 16 months and we are still nursing. I hope to make it through pregnancy or at least only have a small gap and then resume after birth.
ETA: if you're worried about nutrition composition of the milk while she is still nursing, perhaps look into a whole-foods prenatal like New Chapter Perfect. And maybe some vit. D unless you are getting a good source from sun and food.
