Hi there,
I'm a breastfeeding mother to a very sweet 6.5 month old boy and am enjoying myself in this new role more than I could have imagined.

I became a member after trolling the boards to find info on cosleeping, which my DH finally agreed to (after my gentle suggesting). Hooray!

I am excited to learn all I can from the very wise women (and men) on this board.
Cheers!

Thanks everyone!
We slept w/ baby in basinette pushed right up to my side of the bed until he was about 5mos old then transitioned to crib, but brought him into bed during his early morning wake up. DH has always agreed with the philosophy of cosleep (and has helped me respond to baby's night needs as promptly as possible), but he's been terrified of the "safety" side of cosleep. It didn't help that acquaintances lost their baby who was the same age as ours, at 3mos.

Last night we enjoyed our 2nd night of cosleep and BOY IS IT EASIER! I think I nursed him a few times during the night, but not 100% sure, as I don't think I woke up all the way.

I did awake a few times to adjust covers, check on baby, etc. I assume I'll learn to get used to this and not keep waking to check?

Thanks for the support!
