Dry Skin in Toddler

Thread Starter
My 18 month old girl baby has had sensitive skin from day one. I noticed her skin was a little dry a few days ago, so I put some Aveeno lotion on her that I use and it made her break out.

Can anyone recommend a good lotion for sensitive baby/toddler skin? I tried putting Lansinoh on her but it is just so hard to rub in.

Thanks!

I think Earth Mama Angel Baby lotion is gentle and pure. Same with Nature's Baby Organics Face & Body Moisturizer. I've used them on my daughter in the past when she had dry skin/eczema. But my favorite to use on her eczema was either Boiron's Homeopathic Calendula Cream, and Egyptian Magic Cream is also good. I picked all of them up from Whole Foods Market.

we use this and love it! My DS has alot of skin issues. You may want to consider food allergies/intoerances if your LO had had skin issues since day 1

To add to the suggestions form PP I would use a shower filter or bath tub filter for chlorine *IF* your water is chlorinated. Also try getting some oatmeal and grind a little bit, put in a nylon and gently exfoliate the skin. Maybe that will help her absorb the moisturizer better I would avoid the moisturizers you're using since they contain chemicals especially with a LO with sensitive skin.
