Ped using WHO or CDC chart?

I was just reading another thread and began to wonder which chart my ped is utilizing. I should ask him next time out of curiosity. He is aware that my son is exclusively breast fed.
I tried to chart my baby's growth on the WHO chart using 7.3 kg (16 pounds) and 26 inches, and his age of 4 months and 2 weeks. It must be me, but I think I need all of the percentages written out in order to do so

Can someone help please me (?): http://www.who.int/childgrowth/stand...boys_p_0_2.pdf

On my ped's chart he was 50% in weight and 75% in height/length. I am not really interested in the percentages so much just trying to figure out if his chart is WHO or CDC.
Thanks!

well that chart he is approximately 50%. I don't understand what you are asking though? All you do is go across at the weight, down at the age, and where they intersect is the percentage.

As baby is only 4 months and 2 weeks I would use this chart: http://www.who.int/childgrowth/stand...boys_p_0_6.pdf as it is a bit easier to see the weeks.

So at 4.5 months and 7.3 kg that puts your DS on the 50th percentile.

You really need to have the other weights plotted to in order to see if baby is following a curve, rather than where they sit on the chart.

Does that help?

The WHO chart has now been adopted as the gold standard growth chart by the Canadian Pediatric Society and also the Family Doctors, so hopefully the use will spread!

Thank you so much! I more or less was hoping he was using the WHO chart, I think it would appear so.
Once again, thanks
