hylands teething tablets and time

How much time do you think that it takes teething tablets take effect, and how long do you think they last? Do two tablets last longer than three, or is it just a stronger effect? DD, about 21 lbs, has been needing a couple before nursing, and I'm trying to figure out how to give these to her so I don't end up giving her too many a day. Any anecdotal guesses?

hylands are very natural and good-for-babe, so don't worry too much about overuse. we have mostly used the teething gel, which is said to ease pain instantly. the hylands cold tabs work within the first couple minutes, so i would give 1-2 to start, then give more as needed. look at the directions to see how often they suggest to give them.

I usually give him 5-10 minutes after taking them, and that seems to work well for us.

Hyland's is a homeopathic company - one tablet will be as effective as (and last as long as) two, three, or four tablets. It's quite difficult to give too much of a homeopathic remedy. I wouldn't worry.
