I was doing mother led weaning with my DD till I got her down to 2 feedings a day. Then to my surprise she dropped her nap time feeding all on her own. I decided to let her drop her bedtime feeding when she was ready and she dropped that one all on her own accord as well a few days ago. She is turning 2 tomorrow so I will offer it to her at bedtime one last time and then I will never offer again. My goal was 2 years and I made it. It was a smooth journey, but it did have its ups and downs. The best part is because we did it so gradually I am not suffering from engorgment at all.
