Eucalan for cashmere?

I used to use Eucalan for DS's wool and cashmere wraps when we CD'd. I have a really nice light grey cashmere sweater that I need to wash. Do you think Eucalan is ok for this? My only concern is that it has some essential oils and I'd be worried they'd stain or somehow not be ok for the fabric. I know the cashmere wraps always came out fine though...just being overly cautious since I love it so much and it was pricey.

I do wash another cashmere (a thrift store find) in a bit of All Free and Clear, its always fine too, but I know that isn't really the best for cashmere.

TIA!

I find that spots from soap show up on my wool when I'm not careful about how I handle the soap. I would make sure the washer is full and the soap is fully disolved/sudsed before adding my sweater. It should be fine, not much different than lanolizing any other wool. I actually prefer it b/c then my sweater is waterproof too!

I'm planning on washing it later today and will probably go ahead with the eucalan, thanks for the input!
