Do you give LO supplements?

At our 6 mo well-baby visit the pedi prescribed us multivitamins with fluoride and told us to give DS iron supplements as well. DS doesn't have teeth yet, so we haven't been doing anything but vitamin D drops (and not even every day, but DS does get sun each day). DS eats Iron-fortified rice cereal now and again but not very frequently. He is mostly BF'd day-in day-out and the solids he does eat are basically all fruits and veggies.

What do you give baby, if anything? Suggestions for iron supplements if you think they are needed?

While my babe is nursing, I don't give him anything. I take several supplements (vit D, multi, fish oil...) and I believe my son gets what he needs from the breast milk. Once he's weaned, I will definitely give him vit D (we live in upstate NY with hardly any sun ) and possibly a multi, but nothing else. I think it's more important to be sure baby is getting a well balanced meal, with plenty of raw veggies and fresh fruit. I wouldn't give an iron supplement (especially while breast feeding), but that's just my personal thing. I've never been anemic (even through being vegan and being pregnant) and I eat pretty healthy amounts of natural iron and cook in a cast iron pan. I will make sure to have my son's iron checked frequently, but if he's not at risk for anemia, I see no reason to supplement.

I give my son Vitamin D, that's it. We live in a cloudy area and I wanted him to have enough since deficiency is very common.
