A tongue lashing

My 8 month old is all of a sudden sticking her tongue out, constantly and repeatedly. Have you seen the Exorcist? Kinda like that, only less creepy (but still kinda creepy). She is in all other ways acting normal. I wouldn't be concerned except yesterday she had a fall and ran a fever, which I attribute to teething.

So, is this a teething thing? Is this normal? Is my kid just being silly?

It's just a phase. DS3 is about 7.5 mo old and in the past month or so he has been sticking his tongue out a lot. He thinks it is really funny when we stick our tongues out at one another.

DD1 did that a lot at that age. I think it was just a phase. She liked the way it felt, and maybe liked the reaction she got from other people when she did it.
