Could they be wrong?? Chart included.

My doc did a blood test on Tuesday (4 DPO by my chart), it came back that I have a hormonal imbalance and I'm not ovulating. The nurse said my LH was 27 and my Prog. was only .6 My chart looked good!!

Is there ANY way I really did I ovulate and something else is going on?

UPDATE: My temps are still up. Should I request another bloodraw? Do you think I could have ovulated on day 21? My temps are up but my OPK's are STILL positive.

what are your cycles usually like, are they regular and normal length? did they check your glucose or pcos symptoms?

Normally they should do a test 7 days before you ovulate and then again at 7 days after you have ovulated to be able to see what is going on. Did they say what the normal values at that stage should be for progesterone?

Your chart does look as though you did ovulate though.

4dpo was way too early to test your progesterone, next time dont let then push you into doing it on CD21 rather if your charting is clear, make sure you do it on 7DPO most other test should be done right around CD3

Looking at your chart, you were still getting + opks until the 1st. Is it possible that you O'd either the 3/1 or 3/2 instead? Are you using the line tests or digitals?

Either way, 4dpo is way too early for a progesterone test. They say that you're supposed to go in on CD21, but that assumes a 28-day cycle with a cd14 ovulation. Obviously, we all don't work that way.

They didn't even mean to test on day 21, I just happened to have an appointment that day and she said, lets do bloodwork.

I'd find a new doc! They can't determine your peak progesterone levels until 7-8 dpo!

well then they are just goobers, sorry to say that, but i really am sick of goober doc that dont know crap about what they are talking

and no, dont worry about doing another test now, its probably too late now, it really needs to be on 7DPO or very close.
and the clear temp shift you have is more proof of ovulation than any blood test is. as for good or low progesterone? best to know by looking for symptoms like i said before.

your chart is looking really clear, now there is a chance that you might have O'd on CD21, but either way, you will know in hindsight. Charts always tell us a lot more in hindsight. and we often learn the most about any current cycle only by comparing it to previous charts, i for one loooove the chart overlay on the sharing homepage, i learn a lot from that!

Your temos seem really low and it is strange that you are getting pos opks on and off how long is your cycle normally

You LH indicates a surge, which would be why you got a positive OPK on that day. You Progesterone pre-o is perfect. It looks like you 'o'd on CD 21. Now as far as a 4 DPO test - YES, it is a good day to get a progesterone test if you are checking ONLY for ovulation confirmation. In fact, 2-4 DPO are the best days for that. The 7 DPO progesterone checks peak levels and see if you have actual progesterone issues after you were check for actual ovulation earlier.

It looks to me that you are 7 DPO today. Your irregular OPKs are a concern as you should not be getting that type of reading on them. Looking at your OPK patterns with your later ovulation (not late, just later), you might have something hormonal going on. I would give something like OvaTel a try. It will offer you an inexpensive way to see what your fertility window is based on growing estrogen levels. The follies release estrogen and that makes them grow. When estrogen peaks, the LH surge happens. So you will have a longer fertility opportunity than with OPKs alone (especially if they are acting wonky like they are) and you may find that they coincide with your BBT better as well.

I get weird results from OPKs and found the OvaTel scope was not only better for me, it was cheaper as I was not spending a ton of money each cycle on the darn things. I would call your doc for another progesterone test as your levels should have peaked and since you are not bleeding, I would say over 20.
