Will I love the Ergo I just ordered?

I'm a plus sized mama (slowly getting smaller) and I just ordered this. I know that everyone has their own personal favorite carrier and it's just too overwhelming too try to choose based on people's opinions.

FWIW, I had a sling which I didn't like because it hurt my shoulder and back. I have a Mei Tai which I liked until DS got too big for it to be comfy. So hopefully this will work. He's 18 months and about 27 lbs. I want to use it for Spring/Summer walks, museum trips, etc.

Please tell me I'm going to love it! I loved wearing him just never loved the carriers I had yet.

I LOVE my ergo. Ds is almost 29lbs & I can carry him indefinitely in it. I'm also plus sized & find it fits fine.

im not sure how i feel about the ergo either. in the store i felt like it fit like a dream but my son didnt love it...... i have love handles and the straps seems to dig in.

My daughter loved her ergo and used it for 3+ years. Constantly.

I love our ergo. My dd is almost 3. I need to loose about 25 pounds. I hated all other baby carriers like the sling as it hurt my shoulders and neck. We use the ergo all the time and she weighs 35 pounds.

I love mine DD is about 20 months, 25 lbs and I've worn her in it for almost a year now. It is a lifesaver in the grocery store

I loved my Ergo with my second kid, and love, love, love (love love love!!!) it this time around too. For what it's worth, I am not plus-sized (have about 15 pounds to lose). But it is the single-best baby product I've owned. =)

Thanks everyone. I also love the one I got! Now I'm wondering if I should get the backpack. I'm thinking yes because warm weather is coming and I want DS and I to take long walks. That means bringing water for both of us and a snack for him.

Then I'm second guessing myself, thinking "what if I don't like the Ergo?". But I simply HAVE to like it! I just want it to be comfy. I think being able to wear him on my back is the key. Front wearing is ok for teeny babies but not for toddlers and mamas that have bad backs .

I've threatened DH that he better not miss the doorbell tomorrow when UPS comes to deliver it .
