Feeding/Sleeping Schedule with 8 week old twins

Hello!
My twin girls are almost 8 weeks old...and I'm having difficulty with finding time to sleep/eat/shower etc. obviously. But- we're working on a more consistent "schedule" so that I can get some rest. I know it isn't possible to schedule babies...but what did you do at this phase to get to a better place in a few months of sleeping through the night? I have one baby who will consistently need to be woken up to be fed at the same time as her sister and if I let her go she sleeps for 4 hours or so, while her sister never goes longer than 3 and eats a little less than her. We are formula feeding and I am pumping/nursing as a supplement because of PCOS and supply issues. I am trying to figure out how I can space out feedings and get them both on the same schedules...please tell me what you did at this phase and when you got on a better schedule. Thank you!

Well, I was somewhat 'lucky' because my girls were easy and in the NICU. They came home on an every-3-hour schedule. And we have kept them on that. They are 3 months, but 4 weeks adjusted right now.

One of them is great at it: she wakes up every 3 hours during the day like clock-work. We just wake the second one and feed her at the same time. So our schedule is something like:

Around 6am: I am pumping. Again at 8am.

8:30 am: M wakes up hungry. Change her, dress her. Wake up T if not already awake and change her/dress her. Feed both by bottle (they take fortified BM for growth) at the same time.

9:15 or so: both go back down to nap.

I know I have until around 11-11:30 until they'll get up again. I'll pump around 10:30 so I am done when they get up.

Repeat. I end up pumping every 2.5 hours or so during the day while they get up every 3. Over night we let them sleep until one wakes up, and that is usually after about 4-5 hours. My husband will feed them then and I will pump.

As they get more and more awake, we have swings and they will be in there while I pump for the 20 minutes or so. Luckily they are ok with being put down so I don't have to worry so much about that.

So if I were you, I would wake the second baby up when the first gets up and offer the bottle.
