fruits

My 3 yr old used to like grapes, berries, oranges, pineapple and more, but now the only fruit she will eat is peeled apple and banana. that's it, and apples not so much anymore. what happend? she used to like it and she gets constipated so easily, so it would be nice to have her snack on fruit. How do I get her to eat it? I think it's a texture thing, but she won't go near smoothies anmore either. any suggestions?

Could it be flavour, not texture? Apple and banana are possibly the mildest flavoured fruits, at least compared to grapes, berries, oranges and pineapple...the other fruits you listed.

I might try different melons, pears, figs... anything that has less intense flavour.

If that didn't work, I'd just let her snack on veggies instead. Carrots, celery, red peppers - anything with a little crunch.

Melon, pear, mango, and papaya are always eaten up here - other stuff ends up dd can take it or leave it. Sometimes applesauce works out better, and we do a lot of dishes with chopped/grated fruits and veg in them (apples can get grated into a lot of things, or sauteed with butter, vanilla, and cinnamon - yum). We also eat a range of dried fruits - prunes, raisins, apples etc. and just try to watch it more on those cause they're sweeter and stickier.
