Hey Ladies thanks for the warm welcome backs. It' nice to be back on MDC TTC boards

HulaJenn and Stevi: I must admit I have been stalking both of you since I left these boards last.

Luna: I always MDC stalk you too. It was pretty easy for a while since we were both in the March 09 DDC. Maybe we will end up in the same DDC again this time.

On a random side note, since I was talking about stalking the old girls from the TTC 08 boards. Has anyone heard from Tararae? I was thinking about her the other day.

I am taking what is in the prenatal and what is in my sublingal b complex but I do not think that is more than. 2.0 mg in one and 2.5mg in the other. Is that not enough?

Sorry it’s taken me so long to reply!

I’m taking EPO as i heard its meant to help produce got EWCM, and although i get EWCM i don’t get loads of it so I’m just hoping that it might help me produce a little more. I’m also taking 4000mg a day because I took 3000mg the cycle I conceived in Jan (lost it) but I didn’t see much difference so i thought I would up it by one pill! I haven’t ever heard that it can delay O though (*going to look that up now* lol*)

Yeah the B6 is for my LP, i was taking 100mg but because i had spotting this cycle the day before i cut it back to 50mg, not that im even sure if the B6 had anything to do with it.

I hope your stay is short, how long have your been TTC#5?

finnegansmom - I like the look of your conception plan! and 2 clearblue digital tests for $7.99 ?! very jealous!! What CD are you on today? Im on CD3. Hope you had a good weekend!?

My conception plan this cycle is 50mg of B6, 4000mg of EPO, folic acid. I will be doing my CBFM, my clearblue digital ovulation sticks, cheap opk and yes Im actually going to *TRY* to temp accuratly! can anyone think of anything else i can do?

I really want a 2010 baby, and this would be my last chance to get one... so this cycle has GOT to be the cycle!

I also did a stupid online quiz about 6 days ago that would 'predict' my due date and it came up with 12 Dec 2010, well I just worked out my due date for this cycle if i conceived and it come up with 12 Dec 2010!! spooky?! hopefully it will come true! (well i can wish)

If it doesnt happen this cycle then i will be like > . anyway ..

AFM : AF due today...no sign of her yet...keep getting BFN's though...didn't test today yet but tested last night on my last FRER...i have spent more than i want to figure out on them...i think i've been through four 3 packs (so 12 tests) and the packs were like 17 each...EEEK!

Oh geez, when HAVEN'T I been testing? So far two FRER's wasted and a handful of IC's, all BFNs. I started progesterone cream this morning to try to keep AF at bay a few days longer, otherwise I'm due to start spotting this afternoon/evening and AF on Tuesday or Wedsnesday. This cream is no joke, I've been all tingly and crampy in the last 30 mins and I only put it on an hour ago. Let me tell you, this weekend was no cupcake, I kept bursting out in tears for NO apparent reason at all. Last night we were watching the freaking Academy Awards and I cried for the best movie winner and I've never even remotely had any interest in seeing the darn movie.

Holly, I can see we're pretty much in the same boat, but my DP won't let me buy any more FRER's cause we have some IC's left. Keeping my for you! I've been super dizzy too, to the point of almost passing out, nausea, haedache, and hello there are not one but two uneaten Reese cups sitting on my counter that I had no interest in.

Please add me to "waiting to O." AF showed up yesterday. Right on schedule. Onto cycle 7.

My plan hasn't varied much from month to month. I'll have a cup of green tea and grapefruit juice each day the week before O. I use CBE digitals. And I'm continuing to temp this month. I've got preseed, I but I haven't used it in awhile. It's kinda goopy. I think I was using too much. I take prenatals when I remember (I know, I know... I need to take them).

I was debating starting EPO, but I've read that it can delay O in some women. Definitely don't want that. I'm thinking of taking Mucinex around O time, but I've got some time to think about it. Might order Maca. I picked up some RRL tea on Saturday. It's better than Advil, Tylenol, and Motrin for getting rid of AF cramps. IMO tastes terrible on it's own, but with honey or ginger or peppermint it's not too bad.

Finn - I take the Rainbow Lite prenatal, and there's plenty of B-complex in there. Since taking them, my LP extended by a day or two. IMO anything extra would be overkill.

Yeah, those are the ones with a digital smiley face or an open circle. I like them b/c there are no lines to interpret, and I don't need anything else to obsess over. It's easy.

But... my cycle is really regular. If I wasn't, we'd never bd in time... I get my smiley the day before my temp spikes. I don't know if I have low LH or what, but OPKs give me very little notice before I O. I really just use them to confirm what I already know from temps, EWCM, and CP.

eta: the literal answer to your question is that I buy them in Target. Sometimes Walgreens has sales too.

If you get the Sunday paper there was a coupon for $3 off.
CVS had the HPTs on sale, not sure about the OPKs...

SimplyRochelle ~ and sorry about the headache. I had a headache all last week and can't figure out if is hormonal or maybe vitex related? I stopped the vitex as soon as I started bleeding/spotting and now I feel great.

Wouldn't it be great if we were all in the same DDC? How fun.

afm - please move me to waiting to know. today is cd17. no crosshairs yet but i had a negative opk today after 2 days of positives. this cycle i learned from my past mistakes. the dh always gets pooped of the bd when we bd through my 5 days of cbfm high readings. this cycle i did not obsess about opk testing and did not to leave my opks out so he would not feel like we are on a schedule. surprisingly, dh also made a point to be super romantic and attentive this cycle. i got my first cbfm high reading on thurs, cd 13. so i didn't expect a peak until tomorrow/tuesday, but the fertility gods shined down on us and they gifted me a positive opk on sat and sun cd15/16with cbfm peak readings on cd 16/17. its much easier for us to bd on weekends! we bd'd sat, sun and today! we usually get so pooped that we only bd on one peek day and i feel like by then, he's struggling to release new swimmers. this was a good cycle, with great timing and its icing on the cake that dh quit smoking almost 2 months ago, i've been on a high protein diet and we've both been taking lots of vitamins and fertility herbs. i'm glad we did everything right this month. no regrets. i of course am hoping for the bfp this cycle but even if i don't get it, i am much more at peace this month. it feels good to be in control of my fertility and to be able to read my body. NOW, next week when i'm down in the tww dumps and i start getting bfn's at 10dpo despite my imaginary sore boobs, big nipples, implantation cramping, constant urination, etc. PLEASE remind me of this post. lol.

I used the CBE digis when TTC my son. What I didn't know at the time was that my LH surge was super-short and so I never got a on the things. I was also using some line tests as a failsafe, but was only using them once a day as well and so the lines got close to being a positive, but never a true positive. I know now that my surge comes in the evening and is done before I test the next day. I think they would probably have worked for me if I had been testing in the evening. I ended up getting a trigger shot that cycle (and conceiving) and after the trigger it registered as a surge on the digi.

Jennifer- So sorry for your loss.

Sorry to everyone who had AF show over the weekend! Hopefully March will be a lucky month for all of us!

iheartmyfamily- Sounds like things went great for you this cycle! Congrats to your DH for quitting smoking! That's awesome. I know what you mean about getting tired of sex by the time O rolls around. We have that problem too.

AFM- I'm on CD10 and waiting to O. It could be another week to 10 days, so I'm trying not to go overboard with BD yet. I won't have to worry about it tonight anyway, since DH won't be home until after I go to bed. I think I'm going to try for every other day this week, then as much as possible starting this weekend until I finally O. I really hope I O before CD20 this month though! I have an acupuncture appt for Friday, so maybe that will help me to O a little earlier.

My goal for this month is to stay away from OPKs and HPTs until AF is late. I have never gotten a positive OPK (even though I definitely O) so I just need to resist the urge to POAS pre-O. And last month I POAS way too much and all the BFNs sucked. So I want to avoid that this cycle. Luckily I only have 1 IC and 1 FRER, so it should be easier to avoid testing (as long as I don't go buy more!)

Wow... I didn't realize how many of us were cycle buddies. That's a LOT of holiday babies!!

How long is everyones cycle typically? I'm 26-27 days, AF is due around 4/2.

Oddly I've read that vitex is supposed to help with hormonal headaches? Umm not so much.

I'm on CD 3, I think AF is due around April 3 but who knows. My ovaries have their own agenda. Oh and I found my BBT. It was stuck in the filter of my washing machine.

Thank you SOOOOO much for all the warm hugs. I really need them right now. I have an appt in 45 min to do a sonogram. My mom and dad are going with me...DH took off today to be with me and take me to the DR...but DS woke up throwing up So he's staying home and mom will be my support. She's my best friend anyways and had a MC between my older brothers...she was 3 months along. So she knows how to deal with it and is an awesome rock for me. I haven't seen them since this happened...so I'm sure there will be tears when I see my parents today at the DR's office.

I found the info about it delaying O on the TCOYF forums.

I am nursing my 19mth old so PPAF came back in Oct and Jan was the first month we TTC seriously and by that I just mean watching my CM. I got pregnant that month but it was a chemical. Last month at used FR O test and they seemed to work well but AF showed right on time on CD 28. This month I have added Maca...I have read so many good things about it. I just started taking it yesterday on CD 4. I am doing the tinture not the powder since I was told it was stronger.
