Please help me with my Statistics project!

I have to do a poll for my Statistics class, then manipulate and analyze the data in various ways. I thought maybe some of you mamas would give me a few minutes of your time and be my poll subjects. Thanks in advance

I'm going to have to limit this to parents of kids ages 5-18. There are two questions. Please answer them both:

1. Do you homeschool? (YES or NO, please... I guess you can answer Other but I can't use your data for my project.)


2. On average, how many hours a week do your kids spend in structured "extracurricular" activities? (You know... sports, lessons, out-of-school classes. I need a number of hours, not a range. You can respond per each child if the answers differ.)

I hope that's clear enough. Sorry to be so persnickety, but the requirements for this project were very specific. Even if you answer in such a way I can't use your data for my project I will be deeply grateful you responded.

No, my 5yo is in public school.

On average, my 5yo spends 2 hours per week in extracurricular activities.

2. 9 yo Child -8 hours
6 yo child- less than one hour (2 hours twice a month)
2 year old child-4 (includes 3 hours of "preschool")
2 year old child-4 (includes 3 hours of "preschool")

If church is considered an extracurricular activity then add two hours to each kid.

DD#1 - 13 years old -- 1 hour per week (she has some special needs and is going through a phase)

DD#2 -- 11 years old -- 8 hours per week

2. DS 16 y.o. - 4 hours (does not include his 2 garage bands - which are actually basement bands and he organizes rehearsals himself - otherwise add another 3 hours).

DD 13 y.o. - 11 hours (includes 3 hours at a part-time job)

N.B Both are involved in performance groups, and these numbers don't include the performances - only regular rehearsals. On any given week, a performance may add double or more hours to the schedule. For example, last weekend DD was in a school showcase and spent from 2 p.m to 10 p.m. at rehearsal and then performance. This weekend, DS had an afternoon concert with his community youth band and was there from 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. He also had a gig with one of his own garage bands on Friday - from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.

He does an average 15 hours of extracurricular activities. 12 hours are a combination of an after school program with martial arts (45 minutes a day). 45 minutes of music class, 45 minutes of piano, and 30 minutes of art. He goes to a social skills class every other week for an hour and alternates the next week with a home schooling co-op for 2 hours.

I'm not controlling stage mother, I swear he is kid who thrives on activity and change.
