I'm looking to talk about how much money the vaccine industry produces. Can someone lead me in the right direction?

here's an old post. let me say that again 'old'.
But give it a read and stay with it.
the key to remember is that the wealthiest businesses on earth make a 8 percent profit per year. the pharm business blows them out of the water.
they are at 18 percent per year. and no they don't spend it back in r&D. They spend the same amount on publicity as r&d. blech.

I know i have read a few articles forwarded by Dr Tenpenny on facebook
http://www.facebook.com/#!/vaccineinfo but i am too tired to search through her 1085 links right now. i got the 2nd link by putting merck vaccine profit in a search engine (yahoo) and got lots of relevant hits. Try that for all the drugmakers listed in the first reference from wiki.... it is in the billions of dollars for profits

“Swiss pharmaceutical giant Novartis said Thursday its nine-month net profit slid eight percent to 6.1 billion dollars (four billion euros), hit by a weak dollar and acquisition costs.
However, the drugmaker raised its full-year sales forecast, as its new swine flu pandemic vaccines alone are expected to rake in up to 700 million dollars worth of revenues in the fourth quarter.
"Approximately 90 million to 120 million doses are expected to be produced by the end of 2009, with expected fourth-quarter net sales contributions of approximately 400 million to 700 million US dollars,"

GlaxoSmithKline - One of the largest drug companies in the world it is supplying much of the non-USA market and expects its H1N1 sales to top $1.66 Billion. CEO Andrew Witty says those numbers are “pretty close to being right". Similar sales are forecast for the first quarter of 2010.
SANOFI-AVENTIS says it should hit the $500 million mark for sales of the H1N1 vaccine in the USA
ROCHE produces the Tamiflu vaccine often used if the H1N1 is in short supply. It expects to make $2.65 billion in 2009
