We have the mattress on the floor but there are other furnitures in the room. Tonight Miles got up and walked away as I was nursing him to sleep. He bumped his chin on the bench that is at the foot of the bed and cut his gums. I feel so awful and will move that bench out of the room, but how do I keep him safe when he is walking now? he wakes before I get to bed with him and sometimes he walks (in the dark) out of the bedroom to the livingroom where we are. I'm so paranoid now that he'll trip or bump into the walks or something. I'm at a lost as to what to do.
