Hi mamas. I am sitting here debating whether or not to take my ds6 to the ER right now. (it's 10:15 pm PT).
He has a high fever (started last night but went down with Motrin until tonight when even the Motrin is barely touching it).
He's congested, stuffy nose, runny nose, sore throat,headache, chills, moaning, etc.
I started last week with a cold sore that slowly turned into a cold that turned into what ds6 has now sans the fever and chills. (My body rarely gets a fever).
I'm thinking this could be the flu? The strange thing is that my other kiddos have gotten sick with high fevers, etc and I've always known the right time to take them in to the Dr. or ER. Tonight I'm having a hard time figuring this out. Am I overreacting? He's not having problems breathing. His fever hasn't gone over 103, and he's actually sleeping right now. Should I wait til morning and call the Dr?
Thanks for listening. I don't know why I'm freaking out over this. (All of my kiddos have landed in the hospital at one time or other for pneumonia, surgeries, RSV, Rota virus, etc. so I'm not inexperienced when it comes to this...just this time I'm having more anxiety).

I hate trying to decide things like this with my kids. Wish I could tell you to do but I honestly dont know.
