Long term EXCLUSIVE nursing??

My twins are both on solids now, but one of them has been slow to gain from the start. I want to try and explain to the Doc (who thinks that I'm not feeding her enough calories) that even if she was exclusively b'fed (at 17 months she feeds every 1-3 hours night and day with solids too) she would be getting enough calories, and that it showsd a gros misunderstanding about b'milk that he thinks I'm starving her!!!!!!

Any studies/ info I can print to take to him will be greatly appreciated mamas.
(any hugs welcome too )
