Has anyone here taken doxycycline?

Hi all. I was prescribed this antibiotic for bronchitis. I know I really need to take it but have read about some horrible side effects. Just wondering if any of you here have taken it and not had a problem. I really appreciate any advice. Thanks all

Ugh. I had it long ago after a tick bite. It gave me awful photosensitivity -- I couldn't go out in the sun for even a few minutes without getting the most awful sunburn, which I felt more than saw -- my skin just hurt.

Bronchitis doesn't usually merit antibiotics. Are you sure you need them? Here's a link to help you decide:

thansk bravebird. I feel like this isnt going to go away with some type of antibiotics nothing is helping, not even high doses of Vit D
