I just got the coolest call from our Neuro. She is doing a teaching seminar for residents and she wants me to come speak and present DDs case, and speak to the residents about my thought process and research and why I insisted on one drug over the other, and how well it worked. She thinks it will offer residents great insight into parents and she commented that I speak so eloquently about my DD and her history. 
I am flattered, and I think it will be pretty cool to be able to share my perspective with a room full of residents.

!! and, yes, she is a fabulous healthcare provider for asking a parent to share their wisdom. i hope it's a great experience - i look forward to hearing about how it went.
