LO sleeping face down

Help! My 7 month old LO has started preferring to sleep face down on her tummy, not turned to the side. In the middle of the night, I can kind of turn her head, but she often just switches back to face down. Here's a pic of her after her nap: http://bit.ly/ctVTDi

Sometimes she sleeps with a pacifier, so I don't know if that's providing some room for her to breathe. We co-sleep except for her naps. The pedi says I don't have to worry about SIDS any more because of her age, but this is really freaking me out. Any advice? Is this just a passing phase?

The SIDS risk is very very low passed 6 months. I can't see the picture but it would probably freak me out too. I'm sure she's fine though. I still worry with my ds who gets into strange face smushed positions. I figure at a certain point they are just mobile enough to move reflexively in their sleepif they can't breathe. And it probably is a phase.

Well, she looks happy in the picture! I'm sure it is fine, but it would freak me out too. But I worry about EVERYTHING!!!

my ds did this randomly for about a week. once i watched him his entire nap, and whenever he seemed like he was blocking his airway by smooshing his nose too much, he just moved his head. then, a few minutes later, he went face down again. this was around 6 months. now at 11 months he has only done that a few times here and there
