It was a beautiful day today (64 and sunny!) so I dug my new garden bed, went to look up how long until I could put my seeds in and realized for spinach and snap peas, I was a week late! I've never grown those before, I figured mid-late March like carrots. So the boys and I rushed out to get compost and organic fertilizer, mixed the compost in, and planted away. Spring is here, spring is here! I've been longing after this for a month or so yet it caught me by surprise. Who else is starting their gardens now? Isn't it just the most wonderful thing after a dreary and cold winter?
