I think AF's been getting lighter each month? TMI warning

I was on the pill for 11 years, and went off in December 08. At first AF came back with a vengeance, especially on CD1 and 2. By CD3, it was lighter, and CD4 was mostly spotting.

Fast forward to now. It's CD2. I'm wearing a pantyliner, b/c the tampon I had in earlier was actually causing pain. AF was "medium" this morning, but seems to have tapered off. This was last month, too. Might've been the month before as well.

Normally I'd never complain about a 2-day AF, but since TTC these things make me nervous. Is it possible to have a uterine lining that's too thin? What do I do about it? Are there foods/supplements/vitamins that help build uterine lining? I had two cups of RRL tea today, could that have made a difference? I'd call my doc, but she already thinks I'm crazy.

Help?

Hi!

I don't have any answers for you hun, but I wanted to let you know you are not alone. We've been ttc for 11 months and I went from a 5 day heavy af to now I'm lucky if I have 2 days. I'm hoping it doesn't mean anything either!

Have your cycles been long lately?
I've had a few long cycles (with ovulation) and they always end with a very light AF. I've been wondering the same thing myself.

Mine haven't, they've actually been getting shorter with an O around cd 17 which is about a week or more earlier than it was!!

Mine either! I'm consistently 26-27 days for the past year and a half. You could set your watch by me.

Fish oil or any EFA type oil always gives me a "richer" AF. My flow was dwindling down to about two days as well. Medium the first day then light the next. I have bumped it up with two days of medium flow and a day or two of light.

I take about 2000 mg of fish oil daily throughout my cycle. It is supposed to help with egg health as well. So far no side effects either -I do have softer skin though

Just beware of evening primrose oil after O as it gives some ladies uterine contractions-not good for implantation.

I was considering using EPO before O to increase EWCM, but read that it can delay O in some women. I may just add plain Mucinex to my green tea and grapefruit juice routine.

Think it's too late to start fish oil?

Since having DS a year and a half ago, my periods have been much lighter than they were pre-baby. Thay still last about 5 days, but most of the time I don't even need more than a pantyliner for 4 of those days.

I am not sure what it means... I hope nothing. I am going to be 36 soon - maybe it is age?

Bought some yesterday! Can I take it for the entire cycle, or should I stop after I O?
