Clothes for tall thin girls? Help!

My daughter is 8 and very thin and tall. She hates jeans and prefers stretchy type pants. I can't find anything for her that fits, anywhere. It's getting desperate.

Where do you get clothes for tall thin girls?

Yoga pants. My kids don't like jeans and hate leggings but, they'll wear yoga pants. Kohls always carries a good selection of them.

Gap carries a lot of "slim" pants and I find them slim fitting to begin with.

I also like Naartjie for the stretchy pants that my tall, thin older DD simply insists upon (she refuses to wear jeans, too, even though she would look SO cute in them!) All of their clothes are soft and stretchy, though I will admit that their sizing can be a little wonky at times. It's not often, and I find that if I stick to their stretchier (i.e. tighter) clothes, like leggings, we've never had a problem. It's things like their wider leg pants that can sometimes run a little big in the waist

They are pretty strictly West coast, in terms of brick and mortar stores, but you can find them online, too.

How about bathing suits for tall thin girls?

I would use two pieces or the swim team style suits.

Slim stretchy pants can be hard to find. I would usually end up taking them in by making a pleat on either side of the front of the waistband. I never found yoga pants that would fit my slender dd. My favorite source for slim clothing is JCP, but even those I have to take in.

My 9 1/2 year old weighs 48lbs so yeah, we only fit into slims. But she's so darn tall that she needs size 8 for length but they fall off. I think gap is the one that fits best?

I have a tall thin girl as well. I basically take tucks in the waist of any bottom that doesn't have an adjustable waist. We recently found a whole stash of leggings and yoga pants on clearance at Old Navy, then I added a tuck and they are working well.

I have a skinny boy but have bought girls' slim jeans from the Gap because they fit great.

My tall, skinny DD wears adjustable leg pants & leggings exclusively. For swim suits, I recommend Land's End. They have slim sizes & have tankinis as well. They are the only place I find suits that fit.
