think ds has a yeast rash, I'm 99% sure that's what it is. he has a red rash in the creases by his legs and bum, in the leg creases there are also bumps. I can't tell if there's an allergy ring as well, but there is redness around his anus. For the last week and a half he's been pooping a lot, too. One day he went 5 times! It's been pretty normal otherwise, no fever so I don't think it's illness related. He's 6 months old and ebf up until 2 days ago when he had a taste of the banana I was eating.
we're dairy, peanut and soy (except fermented in small quantities) free because of intolerance issues (blood in his poop and huge barfs). eliminating more things from my diet is a scary prospect, but I'm worried about another intolerance
any ideas how I can help him? I'm starting some of the things mentioned on the dr sears website and lots of naked bum time. does the pooping thing sound like systemic yeast or may it's just related to drooling more? are there dairy free baby probiotics?
we see our ped in a few days for a wbv but I'd like to pick your brain too
