My 9 yr old niece just had a biopsy with this as the result . As of a week ago, she seemed like a happy, healthy little girl.

Anyone have any advice, directions to point us all in, etc.?

The daughter of good friends of ours was diagnosed with this almost 2 years ago, at the age of 9. Hers was in her femur. She underwent chemo, surgery, and radiation for over a year. She's in remission now and doing really, really well.

I assume at this point they don't know if it has metastasized or not? I know that metastasis contributes a lot to prognosis.

Where is she planning on receiving her treatment?

We do not yet know about if it has metastisized (we should get those results today or tomorrow). They live in New Zealand (though they are all dual citizens of the US and New Zealand, but that is where they live and where all this is happening).
