Dried Alfalfa recipes?

Need some recipe ideas (or just ingestion techniques ) for dried alfalfa. My supply needs a boost and I've read alfalfa is great for doing just that. I like smoothies but unfortunately DS has a cow's milk protein sensitivity, and I can't really afford the milk substitutes on a consistent basis.

Ideas?

TIA!

Hey Shwarma!!
What about making tea out of the alfalfa? I make tea from RRL, nettle, and alfalfa; I started when I was pregnant and just kept it up afterwards.
If you want some, let me know, I ordered a pound of each of the 3 and a smaller amount of fenugreek. I have a ton of it in my pantry that needs to be used; I mixed all of them together and just steep a scoop overnight, drain in the morning and drink iced throughout the day.

It makes a delicious tea, as the OP said, but I've used it to make salad dressing also (with olive oil, sea salt, vinegar, garlic, etc). I also took alfalfa caplets, which were an easy way to ingest lots of alfalfa every day. I took 5 with each meal when I was pregnant, and 2-3 per meal while breastfeeding You can get them at any health food store or online vitamin store.

Hey you!

I bought RRL, nettle, dandelion, and alfalfa by the pound when I was preggo as well...I did use up most of the RRL in teas but still have most of the alfalfa left. It has such a strong taste that I end up pinching my nose and gulping it just to get it down, no 'sipping' on that stuff! Yuck! And I read somewhere that it's more effective if ingested...but I just can't think of any ways to use it and hide the taste...maybe hidden in lasagna layers?

Thanks for the info!
