I've now had 2 cesareans (and 4 vaginal births before that) and I'm doing another surrogacy for my best friend. However, she is very very nervous after my last two pregnancies and I need some hard evidence that doing an elective cesarean after 2 previous cesareans is not the safest route to go.
I know I have seen a list of risk percentages with each subsequent cesarean but I can't find it...that and any other info would be very helpful. Also, how much does the risk of UR go up after 2 cesareans? Does it go up even more after 3 and if so, how much??
The thing for me is, I may want one last child of my own after this and its not so much the risks of having a 3rd cesarean that worry me (though not having to endure the recovery would be so awesome!), its the risks to my own child should I chose to have one last one that worry me.
I mean at this point, I don't even know if I can find an OB willing to do VBA2C but I'm sure as heck going to try and I want her to be ok with it!
