Where to sell cloth diapers???

Thread Starter
I wasn't sure where to put this so I thought I'd start here.

I've got cloth diapers (one used and the rest brand new) that I'd like to sell online but I'm not sure the best place.

Last I heard Ebay wouldn't sell used dipes anymore. Any ideas???

TIA!

Craigslist or Diaperswappers.com

It's set up just like ebay, but for used (and new) cloth diapers.

Ebay does allow you to sell used cloth diapers, you must just wash them according to what the manufacture says, and you must write in your listing that they have been washed according to what the manufacutre reccommends.

when did ebay change their rules? they used to not allow it at all.

ive sold (and bought ) most of mine at diaperswappers.com

Ebay must have changed their rules again, perhaps?

I listed some not that long ago and they were removed under the "can't sell used underwear" policy, so I sold them successfully on Craigslist.

CL was easier, and free! (because needless to say, ebay did not refund my listing fees despite the listings being pulled)

Yea, ebay changed their rules not long ago. Because last year you were not allowed to, then more recently I saw lots of used cd's being listed,so I re-read through the agreements and contacted ebay and they now allow it! I'm sure its bringing them a lot more money, there are hundreds of used diaper listings!
Quote from ebay: Used cloth diapers can be sold, as long as the listing states clearly that the item has been cleaned per manufacturer standards.

I'd stay far away from diaperswappers.

I sold DD's dipes on the MDC Trading Post, Craigslist and the "bargain basement" on Baby Cotton Bottoms (http://pub33.bravenet.com/classified...num=2827280515). I also donated some of DD's dipes.

I am selling used covers on ebay right now and have not gotten a message or the listing pulled. I don't think there are as many auctions as they used to have, because of their previous restrictions.

I was going to list at diaperswappers. Can you tell me (or pm me) why you wouldn't recommend listing there?

Diaperswappers is the original site of this type and the most populated. The Diaper Pin and cloth diaper nation are similar. There can be a lot of problems with these sites if you don't have proper spyware & adware blockers (on top of the usual antivirus). Like MDC, these sites have a feedback system, so if your buyer has a lot of good feedback, you are good to go! I've sold to plenty of people without feedback tho and never had a problem.. when I'm buying, I make sure the seller has feedback. You need a paypal account, too. I would list some things here on MDC but I think there is a charge so that rules it out for me.. it's not like I am profiting, just trying to recover what I paid for the dipes!

Can I ask why?

I like to shop Spot's and never go to diaperswappers anymore because I get a virus every time and my computer met its end the last time =( not sure for anyone else though.

I just had mine up on ebay. They did change the rules back. Unfortunately I had listed in the middle of the night & I think my bidders slept through the end of my auction. I failed to meet my reserve (which I thought was quite reasonable for the amount of diapers) so I listed them here & on craigslist.
