waldorf readers?

I'm wondering what waldorf homeschoolers use for readers? My son is seven, and we use a variety of materials at home. We love the OM Animal stories and use those for our MLB right now ( I read them at night) , but even though he is a first grader and we use grade 2 he isnt challenged at all with the readers in that program. He read the first one ( there are 2) in one sitting.
I want to find more appropriate readers which are closer to his level, but without the advanced subject matter. Is there anything anybody could recommend? I would guess his reading level is 5th grade or so...Nature stories, maybe? TIA

My son loves all of the Thornton Burgess animal/nature stories. Have you checked those out yet?
