I think she's gassy--she fusses after every feed, when I rub her tummy she seems uncomfortable, lots of hiccups...what can I do to relieve her?

Excessive hiccups is a sign of reflux, and so is pain during and after feedings.

What color are her stools? Does she spit up a lot? Have trouble sleeping?

It may be something in your diet that she is sensitive to. Dairy is a usual suspect.

Her stools look normal...mostly yellow and sometimes greenish. She's had projectile vomit 3 times in the last 3 weeks...doesn't spit up other than that. And no, no trouble sleeping (well, she's 6 wks old, so she's up anywhere from 2-4 times a night).

My DD was doing a lot of projectile vomits at around 5-6 weeks so we suspected food allergies (and we were right). My DD had green stools mostly.

Maybe you should talk to your pediatrician, but maybe you can try gripe water and a tummy massage at first to see if it may just be a little gas. If the vomit and pain continue and her stools become more green, then I would also suspect that there may be something food related going on.

But, I could also be biased due to my own experiences... so I don't want to sound like an alarmist. Tummy issues and gas are pretty normal around that age. Go with your intuition.
