She had the kittens!

So the stray had her kittens tonight! I'm quite proud of myself for noticing that it was coming (thank you for the help!)

There are three so far. I *think* that's all. I'm pretty sure there aren't anymore coming! They are very cute and very loud! I can hear their little meows right through the house! Cleo is doing a very good job of looking after her babies!

DS1 got to see them being born too, which I'm so pleased about (and so was he!)

I *think* they might be all males, but obviously I'm not 100% sure! So far I've named then George, Harley and Ringo (in order of birth).

I'm so excited!

Mama is doing good! They're all snuggled up in the nesting box together and they seem to all be nursing great. I have the kitten food. She's been having that since we brought her home - I'm hoping that she'll put on a bit more weight soon because she's still a bit underweight. She hasn't seem to have figured out yet that there is always a big bowl of fresh food and water there for her. I have to draw her attention to it.

The second one that was born is quite a bruiser! I think he might be a big cat when he grows up!

Will post pictures when I can get a decent one. Mama is very good at keeping them safe!

I don't think Cleo has stopped purring since she had them!

I watched them all nursing last night before I went to bed, it was just so gorgeous!
