New thermometer readings off...or no O yet?

Hi Mamas

My thermometer crapped out mid-cycle (right when I think/hope I was fertile...Gah!!) with the last reading on my old thermometer showing a temp spike. My first reading with my new thermometer is way lower. I'm hoping others have seen similar differences in thermometers. I'm a biologist, and would assume it was the thermometer if I couldn't calibrate one against the other but the whole TTC thing is making me nuerotic and clouding my judgement.

Here's my chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/ttc/i...hp?interface=0

I was pretty excited to the see the spike because I'm nursing my 12 month old 4-5 times a day (I've been stalking the Nursing Mamas TTC thread), and I temp at different times and sometimes (often) don't have a 3 hour window of sleep beforehand. In some cases, data points are missing because I ended up awake for the day when I didn't intend to be so didn't temp first. I'm pretty sure the high temp on CD 11 is an annomoly from too much pre-temping activity (co-sleeping daughter and slow responding husband).

Your link doesn't work. You need the link that FF gives you as you can't just cut and paste the address due to the login issue.

Oops...thanks. I think this will work. I've only just started using FF.

I don't think you've O'd yet...but women better versed at chart interpretation will weigh in and give a more complete answer.

What day did you change thermometers? Is the new thermometer a BBT?

Waaaaah!!! Really?

My last temp with the old thermometer was CD17 (98.1) and the first temp with the new thermometer was this morning (CD19, 97.45).

And yes, its a BBT and not a regular theremometer.

Okay, for some reason I thought you switched on CD11 You have lots of open circles which makes it difficult...if you did O on CD17 it will take FF a few days to give you cross hairs (3-4 dpo) because you have to have a sustained shift...good luck!
