What can be done about public mistrust of vaccines?
KS:There are groups out there that insist that vaccines are responsible for a variety of problems despite all scientific evidence to the contrary. We have reached out to media outlets to try to get them to not give the views of these people equal weight in their reporting to what science has shown and continues to show about the safety of vaccines.

So the answer if to shut us up. Don't let us have an outlet or a voice to represent our concerns or any alternative point of view....I know I really shouldn't be surprised, and I'm not really, I'm just POed! I like this response

Needless to say, if Sebelius and the rest of the government really had science on their side they would not have to go to great lengths of telling media outlets to stifle evidence unfavorable to them. In fact, nothing would serve their viewpoint better than an article that stacks up their arguments next to our arguments and allow readers to draw their own conclusions, if they had the facts on their side that is

I honestly think all the stonewalling will continue to backfire. Nothing makes people more suspicious and more curious than big government/pharam/media insisting that something is perfectly safe, when theres even a shred of evidence to the contrary. And theres more than a shred in this case!!

The problem (tons of chronically sick kids) is not going to go away.
