VBA2C friendly docs

Hi mamas!

I'm in search of a VBA2C OB in any of several areas and rather then posting in every single tribal area (if I can avoid it, lol), I figured Id try here.

The short of it is that I've had 4 vaginal births, a cesarean for HELLP at 32w, and then another cesarean a month ago for failure to progress. I really REALLY want to try for another VBAC!

I'm doing a surrogacy this time, so my options for where to birth are very broad. I'd love to stay close to home (near Seattle) but apparently there aren't many (or maybe any?) options here.

So, I'm looking for a doc in Washington, Oregon (northern...preferably the Portland area but as long as its not like Medford, I should be ok), Wisconsin (this is where she lives), South Carolina (my fiance's family lives near Greenville so Id have a place to stay!), or Georgia (her family lives there, lol). If there's any docs in neighboring states please let me know though. I'm also only looking for OB's, my friend isn't comfortable with a midwife and I have a history of pre-e so its probably better anyway.

Thanks!

Dr Brasch and Dr Fine at Associates for Women's Health in Spokane, WA. As far as my research has gone, I've found women driving and staying locally from places like Seattle area, Wenatchee, and far into Idaho (I'm about 1 hr away from his North Spokane office/hospital-in Idaho)

Dr Fine was my OB (found him via ICAN) for my fabulous VBA2C birth last June. He was very hands off for an OB, and delivers at the hospital where his office is located-Holy Family. I've had several children-all in the hospital, and many hospital encounters, and this was the very best hospital experience ever. Private, small family centered birth suites, great food, my nurse was like a doula, etc. GREAT experience!

This time I'm having a homebirth with a midwife, BUT it was a really difficult decision because I loved my OB/hospital so much!

Best wishes!

That sounds like a wonderful experience!

I think if I could find someplace closer to where family lives it'd be better but Spokane definitely isn't as far away as some places.

There is an awesome OB in Atlanta, Ga who is super VBAMC-friendly. I know of mamas who are willing to drive hours to see him (*cough, cough*). Just let me know if you need any additional info.
