The reason I titled it this way is because I wanted to open this up to moms who work in the art field or just love doing art with their kids.

I'm a homeschooling mom who has always held a part time position running a kids art studio. So my world is both. The combination is the best! I love kids art. They inspire me more than I could ever inspire them.

I love to have a lot of different stations and let them go nuts. Clay, animation, paint, collage, sculpture and anything else I can manage to find for kids to create in. Every once in awhile, I have to reassure a kid to let them know it's okay to get messy. In fact it is so much fun.

I have big dreams for how I want to take this love of mine but that's for another post. Anyone out there love actually doing art with their kids? What kids of things do you like to do? Any one running a children's art studio?

oh wow, you have your own kids art studio? that is soo neat! I graduated with a degree in studio art and would love to teach private lessons to kids. I took a few classes in art education, but decided i did not want to work in a school. I would love to hear more aboutyour studio that you openned. It sounds like such a neat idea. Do you have actually classes or is it just a drop your child in to learn type thing. What goes into starting your own kids studio? Sorry, lots of questions. I am just really intersted. ....and where are you located?
