yep, ds either tries to crawls away or if im really lucky, grab a handful of poop. i try to distract with a toy or funny faces but i guess im not that funny cause it never works!

Another diaper-wrestler here. I managed to escape this stage with DD, not sure how I managed that, but DS is the WORST! Even on the change table, where he used to lay still (because he's fascinated with a fleck of paper painted onto the wall...), he flips over and tries to throw himself at the floor. It is SO frustrating! No amount of distraction or toys or singing, tickling, etc seem to do anything, it's still like trying to put a diaper on a hyper octopus.

Hahahahaha! DS not even 5mo and I've been wondering the SAME THING! Thanks for this thread. I act like a completely insane person, making "funny" faces and trying out different pitches with my voice. Songs. Dancing. I have 3 painful hangnails from missing with the snappi. Quite often I just let him be free. We're ECing anyways, so the worst he ever does is pee on himself... or, on occasion, the dog
