relactating for 18 month old dd

Hi, I need some advice here. I nursed my oldest dd until she was almost 2, including 4 months tandem nursing both her and my little dd. I weaned my little one last Dec, when she was 15 months old. Looking back, i'm not really sure why I weaned her. I know I was kind of overrun, and maybe felt like it was the right time. For a month or so I felt fine with it, but the last few months I have been feeling sad about it and missing the nursing relationship. I feel like I can't comfort her like I did my older dd. I'm thinking of trying to relactate, but not sure if it'll be worth it or if i'll be able to. My girls are very active and I don't know how often i'll be able to pump. I bought some fenugreek today, and I thought i'd try that. I've pumped 4 times in the last 2 days and only got a tiny amount of fluid, that looked sort of thick (not enough to even really squirt out). Any Moms out there who have successfully relactated? And any advice on whether this is a good idea. Another thing is I don't think dd remembers how to nurse now, she really likes her bottle. I asked her to nurse and she just sort of licked my nipple and laughed. Anyways, what do you think?

Hello there, what I would do in your situation is let your daughter lead. It doesn't sound like she wants to nurse right now and that she is content with the way things are..

Thanks for the reply! That's pretty much what i've decided to do. She's definitely not interested and i'm not going to push her. She's happy with the bottle and i'm happy that she nursed at least over a year. I'm just going to use other ways to comfort her and keep her happy
