Help me rescue my soup yogurt

Thread Starter
I made yogurt yesterday from 1 gallon of organic milk and a type of yogurt I've used successfully before as a starter. By the end of the day it still hadn't completely set - it's all gooey and soupy. Can I rescue it? I was thinking of mixing in more starter and putting it back in the warmish oven.

Have you made a full gallon before using that same starter? I only ask because sometimes when you do larger quantities, it can be harder to maintain the correct temperature--even if you do everything else the same. It's completely frustrating but it happens.

Yes - I've made a full gallon before with this starter but the last time I did it I had raw milk and it set beautifully . I'm going to try adding more starter and putting it back in the over.
