Is baby led night weaning a gradual thing?

We moved a mattress to the side of the bed last night. I realized last week that if I get out of bed after DS goes to sleep (and he sleeps with DH) he sleeps 3-4 hours before wanting to nurse again... This works for us just fine.

Is night weaning a gradual thing? Will his gaps get longer and longer?

Night weaning is definatley a gradual thing. With DS there were definatley big leaps though.

"Baby led"? though... I wouldn't know about. Child led I could speak on

Every child is different. Yes, it is usually gradual. I would love 3-4 hour stretches.. but the best we get is about 1-2 hours.

I guess you could call it "child led" lol...he's almost 11 months. He's not a "baby" anymore, huh?

No, 11 months is definately a baby!

DS was 4.5 YEARS before he went a 4-5 hour stretch.
