narratives about choosing homebirth

Thread Starter
i'm searching for any narratives of how women come to choose homebirth (or natural birth more generally), particularly any narratives that discuss doing research around the topic.

they can be first person narratives or any studies/narratives/interviews that cite womens' experiences. blog posts would also be okay.

can anyone think of any? i would much appreciate it!

Have you checked out the work of Melissa Cheyney at Oregon State University? She is the homebirth guru around here and was one of my midwives last birth. Her contact info can be found on their website(Anthropology department). She is super sweet and helpful and could probably direct you to more information than you'd ever want!
