My 5 week old has caught my toddler's cold. He's been nursing less for shorter periods of time. In the meantime, my breasts don't feel nearly as large as they did with my first. My breasts feel like they did 18 months into nursing my first... Is my milk supply diminishing as my son is sick, or are my breasts just used to nursing the 2nd time around?? Should I start pumping to make sure?? Nervous!!!

Since your baby is so young and your supply might not be that well established yet, I'd say yes.
My dd had a stuffed nose a couple weeks ago and nursed the bare minimum for a few days and I could tell a BIG difference in my breasts. She is 7 months though, and I just nursed her every hour or so during the daytime hours the next day and half and everything was back to normal. It might be harder to get your newborn to stay awake for extra feedings if your supply gets negatively affected...at least that was my experience...dd fell asleep for every feeding for the first 2 months of her life I think.
