Who's starting grad school in the fall?

I got the news today -- I got accepted to grad school. I'll be getting a Masters in public affairs. I've been in the professional world for nearly seven years, so it's going to be a big change being a student again, but I think I'm going to really enjoy it. I only applied to the one program (the LBJ school at UT Austin), and I was pretty confident of my chances, but it's great to know that I'm in there.
Anybody else awaiting replies or just getting the acceptance letters?

Well, I am not starting in Fall. I am actually starting this Spring. My classes begin April 5! Do I still count?

I am going for a Masters in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Transpersonal Psychology. I cannot possibly explain the excitement I am feeling right now!!!

I am awaiting acceptance. Our deadline is the 15th of March. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks I'll be on my journey. I've applied to a joint MLIS/School Media program. crossed fingers...

Waiting to hear from BU for a Master of Social Work program. They have apparently lost my test scores. It's the only place I applied because of its off campus program near me.

leahd - ugh the frustration! How long do you have to get the test scores sorted out?

I am JUST starting the application process!

I'm applying for a Master's in Ecological Restoration through the program of Forest Resources and Conservation at University of Florida. It has a distance program, which is good, since I'm an 8 hour drive away.

ACK. I had no idea the app would be this tough. I've never written a CV in my life and now I'm scrambling to get everything in order and submitted by the 30th. I have been trying to decide what I want to be when I grow up, and we just moved here from Texas and I just found out about the program, and it is exactly what I'm looking for, so I hope I get in!

Me. I received my letter of acceptance today. I only applied to one place so I only have to decide I'm really going to do this and send in my tuition deposit. I decided to go for an MBA with an Accounting concentration because I'm changing careers and have been out of the workforce for 6 years as a sahm. I hope the MBA will give me a step up instead of just starting in accounting from the bottom as I am no longer even close to being a young career person.

I just have no idea how I'm going to handle school (part-time) and homeschooling two kids at the same time.

Yay, congratulations! I got my acceptance letter pretty recently. No funding , but it's a short professional program, really reasonably priced, and I think most people pay their way through.
We're in the middle of trying to hire my replacement at work. I'm going to cut down to 10 hours per week, which I hope won't be too much.
Anybody figuring out how much they'll work?

I'll be working full-time, with a toddler at home. I'm familiar with graduate-level course loads, so I'm okay with having to juggle a bit. I'm a night owl, so the plan is to work, spend afternoons and evening with DS and then hit the books at 8pm when DS goes to bed. My program is a learning colloquium, so I only have to go in once every few months, and the rest is community-based learning. It's not so hard...
